Acitrom Diet

There are few clinical conditions where the tendency to form blood clots is very high.

•  Artificial heart valve
•  Atrial fibrillation etc.

In these cases, Acitrom drugs are given to patients to prevent the formation of blood clots. Vit K is found in many vegetables and fruits. This vitamin K helps in blood clot formation and acts opposite to acitrom or warfarin. Thus excess use of vitamin K food can cause bleeding. Thus the importance of acitrom diet to prevent consumption of such foods.
